Properties

The Monroe Historical Society owns and maintains three properties in the Town of Monroe.

Each location is filled with early Americana and articles that reflect life in Monroe as it used to be – period clothing and gowns, World War II uniforms, heirlooms, Yankee furniture, primitive farm implements, decorative sheet music, vintage photos and glass negatives, postcards depicting bygone days, Indian arrowheads, apothecary items, antique maps, rare documents, fine art, quilts and textiles, early footwear and even a large assortment of beaded bags.
