About the event
The Monroe Historical Society will be welcoming Suzann Kober, of Heaven and Earth Basketry, a retired RN who has been weaving for over 30 years. Her designs are traditional with her own twist on design utilizing hand dyed colored reeds.
In this beginner class learn the lost art of basket weaving. Basic techniques will include single row weave, twill, and closed bottom. Several color choices will be available. Please bring a hand towel and scissors.
