About the event
“Fall” in Love with Monroe History! If you have students in Monroe’s public schools, they’ve likely enjoyed a visit to the Barn Hill-East Village Schoolhouse, a circa 1790 schoolhouse that served students in Monroe from 1790 until 1935. Now, it is used as a living history museum, lovingly maintained by the Monroe Historical Society. This fall, we are pleased to welcome you to join us for a visit- and a glimpse into the past! Parking is limited, so we do ask that you email us to schedule your tour slot. Bring your curiosity, questions, and stories if you have them! We look forward to sharing this gem with more of the community this fall.
